Thunderbird Executive Education Online Programs - Terms of Use
It is the responsibility of participants to read and understand the policy and procedures outlined below. Upon registration and payment, participants will receive program specific information via email. All communication will be sent to the participant’s email account collected in the registration process.
PAYMENT TIMELINE
- Payment is to be made prior to the first day of the program.
- Thunderbird will only grant access to program materials when full payment has been received by the accounting office of Thunderbird School of Global Management at ASU (herein referred to as “Thunderbird”).
- In the event of late registration, program fees are due immediately.
- Payment not received by the deadline may result in cancellation from the program.
CANCELLATION and REFUNDS
In order to be eligible for a refund, a participant must not have accessed the course materials. Course materials are readings, videos, and course pages. If a participant has not yet accessed course materials they are eligible for a 100% refund within 90 days of purchase. A refund request must be made to [email protected]. Requests made after 90 days are not eligible for a refund.
POSTPONEMENT
Thunderbird honors postponement requests without additional fees if made before the course start date. Thunderbird may not honor postponement requests made after a participant accesses program materials.

PAYMENT TYPE
Thunderbird encourages credit card payments made at the time of registration. Alternatively, Thunderbird can issue an invoice, due according to the terms in this agreement, and following the Payment, Cancellation, and Postponement policies outlined herein.
- Domestic payments can be made by credit card, check, or wire transfer
- International payments can be made by wire transfer: flywire.com/pay/asu
- Unless stated otherwise, discount codes are not valid in conjunction with other promotions or discounts
THUNDERBIRD CANCELLATION
Thunderbird reserves the right to cancel a program prior to its start date. In the event a program is canceled prior to its start date, the applicants will be notified in writing and will be entitled to a full refund of the program fees. Thunderbird is not responsible for reimbursement of any other costs.
PROGRAM REQUIREMENTS
To earn a certificate you must complete the course requirements as outlined in the syllabus. Email [email protected] to learn of those specific requirements. All courses sold as On-Demand must be completed within one year (365 days) from the purchase date. Thunderbird School of Global Management reserves the right to terminate course access after the year has passed.
Each participant completing the program will receive a digital Certificate of Completion or digital badge. This certificate does not satisfy any Thunderbird or ASU degree requirements nor is program credit transferable to any Thunderbird or ASU degree program. Full attendance is required to receive the certificate. Make-up sessions may be arranged at an additional cost.
RETAKE FEE
Should a participant fail to pass a course they can request another chance to take the course. The retake fee will cost 10% of the non-discounted price of the course that was failed. All International Credit and Trade Finance courses will follow a different fee schedule that is available upon request. Access will be granted after the retake fee has been paid.

CONTRACT ACCEPTANCE
Submittal of this registration form signifies that you have read and understand all aspects of this agreement, that you recognize the legal responsibilities in regard to this contract, and that you have read the above copy of the Thunderbird Executive Education Terms of Use.
